Close to 20,000 homes and businesses in the Shannonside Region remain without power this morning.
Nationally, Storm Debi has resulted in at least 100-thousand houses, farms and businesses without electricity.
Longford is one of the worst hit counties in the region this morning with over 8,000 premises currently without power.
That's followed by Cavan, where damage caused by Storm Debi has resulted in 3,600 outages.
Roscommon has reported 2,700 properties without power, while 1,500 homes in Monaghan are also affected.
Leitrim is reporting the fewest properties affected with close to 900 outages recorded.
According to the ESB, crews are working to restore power to all areas, with resumption of service for most areas due around 6pm.
