The Roscommon Garda District doesn't have enough officers to effectively police the area, according to an Independent TD. It's after two burglaries of businesses in Knockcroghery and Roscommon town on Tuesday morning.
There was also an incident of theft and vandalism from an honesty box in Ballaghaderreen on Monday evening, from a business that sells farm produce. Roscommon-Galway TD, Denis Naughten, says garda numbers are an issue in the region.
