The new Chair of Longford Municipal District says progression on a number of projects around the town will be one of her main priorities during the coming year.
Fine Gael's Peggy Nolan was elected to the position at this week's Annual General Meeting of the MD.
The long serving politician says she wants her term to be about community, county, and looking to national government to keep promises already made for Longford.
