A new five screen cinema in Ballinasloe has been officially opened this weekend.
Irish entertainment group Omniplex announced plans in late 2021 to build the facility on an empty site on the Harbour road.
The auditoriums include laser projections, Luxury Rocker Seats and Double Sofa-Beds.

It's part of an overall €11 million investment by the group which saw the creation of 100 construction jobs and a further 65 full and part time positions going forward.
