The head of the HSE and the Minister for Mental Health are to open a new e - mental health hub in Castlerea on Monday,
The CAMHS Connect service will be located at the site of the former Rosalie Unit in the town and will provide a new on-line and telephone-based mental health service for the entire country.
The former centre for older people with dementia closed at the beginning of last December when the final two residents of the facility were moved out after a long-running campaign by locals to keep it open.

Minister of State for Mental Health and Older People Jim Daly as well as HSE CEO Paul Reid are to open the facility with An Taoiseach Leo Varadkar appearing remotely by teleconference.
