The new library in Edgeworthstown has been described as a perfect tribute to the family who give the town its name.
The multi-million euro facility will open to the public officially next Monday and locals got a sneak peek at the two-storey building on Wednesday night.
The site for the library was gifted to Longford County Council by the Edgeworthstown development association - and their new offices are located on the bottom floor.
