The likely motive behind the controversial killing of Roscommon priest Father Niall Molloy in 1985 will be explored in an RTE Investigates programme tonight.
New documents have revealed Richard Flynn's detailed view of events leading up to Fr Molloy's killing , and a possible motive for it, following a wedding reception in a house at Clara County Offaly.
The new information contains details that contradict Garda statements taken at the time from Mrs Flynn's husband, Richard.
Father Molloy's nephew Bill Maher, says what the family really want, is a commission of investigation.
I would reiterate that whatever is in the programme , the family point of view is that we still want a commission of investigation to establish all the actual facts of what happened.
A lot of lies have been bandied about over the years, we've been looking for a factual investigation.
