Minister Heather Humphreys has announced Clár funding of almost €1 million for local groups.
The funding is part of Measure 1 under Clár for sports clubs and community centres. Funding can be used to develop walkways, spectator stands, parking facilities and improve accessibility. Six sports clubs and one community centre in Roscommon are set to receive a total €350,000 or €50,000 each. Six clubs in Longford will receive over €118,000 between them while five Leitrim clubs will benefit to the tune of €214,706. Four clubs in Westmeath are also set to receive funding.
