The new Garda dispatch system is the first of its kind in Europe.
GardaSAFE is being rolled out on a phased basis, and is now in operation in 3 of the 4 Regional Control Centres.
The service will start in the Dublin Metropolitan Region before the end of the year.

Calls to Garda Stations requiring the dispatch of a Garda resource will be handled by the control centres, where the call taker organises the fastest, most suitable response.
