A new Go Fund me has been launched to help a Longford woman access specialized cancer treatment in Germany.
Following the settlement of her Cervical check scandal case, Lynsey Bennett travelled to a specialist treatment centre in Mexico, before returning home and beginning imunotherapy.
In a post to social media before Christmas, The Killoe native said the treatment was not working and that she hoped she could return to the Hope for Cancer centre in Mexico.

That's currently not possible as current health issues prevent her from flying commercially and alternative transatlantic transport options are not feasible.
A new Go Fund Me has now been established by Lynsey's friends to help her attend a similar centre in Germany.
