Performers say they'll be forced out of the industry due to the lack of supports.

The Health Minister says he doesn't believe the pandemic unemployment payment should return - despite new Covid restrictions.

From tomorrow, pubs, nightclubs and restaurants will have to close at midnight and a work-from-home message takes effect on Friday.

The hospitality sector has warned of job losses and believes many venues will be forced to close.

Minister Stephen Donnelly says the government isn't going to reverse cuts to the PUP - or open it to new entrants:

The move has been heavily criticised by the body representing performers and entertainers across the country.

According to the Music & Entertainment Association of Ireland, the new closing times will have a domino effect on related sectors.
