A pop-up hub for Ukrainian refugees will open in Leitrim later this week.
It's hoped the facility which will be located at the Carrick on Shannon Retail Park will provide clothes, shoes and household goods to those displaced from the war.
All items will be free of charge and the volunteer group are currently looking for donations from the public.
Ivan Tarkovic has been living in Gorvagh for the last three years and with the help of his wife Diana has been helping families arriving here from Ukraine.
He says the free shop which opens this Wednesday will be of huge benefit to Ukrainian citizens.
"The centre that we are opening, it is the first of its kind, it's like a free shop. It's more than that, it's a free shop of resources and hope for displaced Ukrainians and we want to make sure that everyone has what they need and are looked after. We help around 70 people that have arrived to Ireland so far."
