Planning permission has been granted for the development of a new remote working hub in Ballymahon.
Ballymahon Town team had applied for permission for the change of use of the derelict Naomh Colmcille primary school at Drinan in the town.
The building, which is a protected structure, is to be turned into a community remote hub unit with Internet access, office space, it services and toilet and kitchen facilities.
The permission has been granted with seven conditions attached.
One includes that all recommendations from Heritage Officers shall be incorporated into the project.
