A new school bus service has been launched in Roscommon.
The bus route will connect the village of Tarmonbarry to Strokestown, servicing Scoil Mhuire in the town.
Senator and Fianna Fail representative, Eugene Murphy, called for the creation of the bus service at a Seanad meeting in April of this year.
The service has been long-awaited by students and parents, with as many as 100 pupils living in the Rooskey and Tarmonbarry areas affected.
