New senior appointment made to Longford County Council executive

Longford County Council has confirmed the appointment of a new Director of Services.

Samantha Healy now has responsibility for a new directorate: Infrastructure, Housing & Innovation.

Cavan native John Brannigan is now Director of Services with responsibility for Regeneration as part of his redefined directorate: Planning and Project Delivery, which is also a new directorate for the local authority.

The new roles have come into effect in the last few weeks.
