Following a technical examination, Convent Road and New Street in Longford Town will reopen at approximately 1pm.
The road was sealed off following a fatal traffic incident between a young male and a bus yesterday.
The young man, named locally as 19 year old Martin McDonnell, was tragically killed and his body removed to Mullingar Regional Hospital.
