A new temporary walk-in test centre is to be set up in Castlerea in Roscommon next week to help identify a-symptomatic cases of Covid-19 in the community.
The centre will be established at Castlerea Fire Station on Church Street in the town, and will run from Tuesday the 27th of April to May 4th.
Sinn Féin TD for Roscommon/Galway Claire Kerrane has welcomed the establishment of the walk-in Covid testing centre.
“It is said that one in five people have no symptoms of Covid and can spread the virus without knowing. That is why is it so important that a facility like this is made available to communities.”
