Athlone Tennis club's state of the art new complex is set to open to members in the coming weeks.
The club lodged planning permission for the development of a new club house and courts.
Also included in the approved plans is an air dome containing three more courts.
Air domes are air supported structures that are designed to roof all manner of sports pitches and courts.
The new sports complex will be located beside Athlone Regional Sports Centre.
