A new wastewater pumping station is expected to be set up in Roscommon

Planning permission has been sought for a new wastewater pumping station in Roscommon.

If granted, control and welfare kiosks will be developed, as well as site drainage, site fencing, an associated stormwater holding tank and site landscaping.

The application, which includes a Natura Impact Statement, proposes to demolish the existing below-ground pumping station along with the above-ground control building within the site boudnary.

A decision on the application is expected on May the fourth.
