It's hoped a new two-day music festival in west Roscommon will provide a major economic boost to the region this autumn.
The launch of a Night & Day Music Event festival is taking place today at Clonalis House in Castlerea.
The event takes place on the 24th and 25th of September and will see over 30 acts perform across three stages.
It is expected to attract over 2000 people.
Political debate, craft brewers and comedy will also feature as part of the camping festival.
It's being organised by uncle and nephew duo Craig Hughes and Brendan Hurley of Cruachan Productions.
Speaking at the launch, Craig hopes the event will give Castlerea and Roscommon a huge economic boost:
"It's a very exciting day for us. Things are really starting to become real. As you can see on the grounds it is a really stunning setting to have a festival like this and we really hope it is something that will grow into the future.
We really wanted to do something for the region and what we will see throughout the festival we will working with local brewers from the western region and with our food stalls so our aim is to keep businesses involved in this as much as we can."
