A Shannonside political analyst says newly-elected Fianna Fáil TD Martin Daly ticks all the boxes when it comes to a Cabinet position. The Ballygar GP has been tipped to take a Ministerial role following his election in the Roscommon-Galway constituency. Ivan Connaughton says it will depend on the make-up of the next Government but believes Micheál Martin will consider it. Speaking following his election on Sunday, Dr Martin Daly left the ball in the outgoing Tánaiste's court:
