The walk-in clinics are being hosted at the Newtownforbes centre on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons this week

It's been a long wait for the opening of the Longford mass vaccination centre in Newtownforbes which saw its first clients vaccinated this morning

The centre will open five days per week at a GAA grounds just off the N4

At full capacity, the centre could see 10 vaccinators administering 6 doses per hour over the course of a day.

Work has been ongoing at the facility to get it ready since last month
