There's no appetite for the three political parities in Government to campaign for election together.
That's the view of Westmeath Green Party Councillor Louise Heavin, who believes the parties must progress their own policies and ideals.
Her comments follow those from the Taoiseach saying he doesn't believe the Government will contest the next general election as a joint ticket.
Leo Varadkar thinks each of the coalition parties will go it alone when people next take to the polls.
Councillor Heavin says that there have been many instances of anti green policy:
"I think the Green Party is a minority in this coalition. I think we got some good Green policies over the line but we didn't get everything. There's a lot of things that happened in this coalition that were anti-green and in direct opposition to Green Party policies. I think we would be doing our party a great disservice if we were do that. To be fair, Fine Gael and Fianna Fáíl probably feel the exact same way".
