Four fire engines from Longford town rushed to the scene of the blaze at the Esquires Café at the Axis Centre just off the N4 shortly after 2pm.
It's understood the fire began inside the premises when it was busy with staff and customers.
The building was safely evacuated and fire engines quickly managed to get it under control.
No injuries have been reported and it is understood the building has sustained significant smoke damage.
Gardai remain at the scene and motorists are advised of parking restrictions at the business park but no diversions are in place.
Neighbouring businesses have been closed and power to the retail park has been cut.
