133 athletes from across Ireland are set to compete at the games in Paris over the next few weeks.

Leitrim and Westmeath are the only counties in Ireland without a representative at the upcoming Olympics.
133 athletes from across Ireland are set to compete at the games in Paris over the next few weeks.
There are 3 athletes in the Shannonside region heading to Paris with boxer Aoife O'Rourke and cyclist Kelly Murphy representing Co. Roscommon and swimmer Darragh Greene respresenting Co. Longford.

Meanwhile, Connacht and Ireland star Beibhinn Parsons from Ballinasloe in Co. Galway will play for the Ireland Women's Rugby 7's team.
Leitrim County Council Cathaoirleach, Paddy O'Rourke believes population size has played a part in Leitrim having no Olympian in Paris this year:
