A Roscommon councillor says 'no stone has been left unturned' in an effort to find a solution to flooding at Lough Funshinagh. Cllr Laurence Fallon was speaking following the publication of observations on an interim flood relief scheme for the turlough. The planned works would see water discharged to the Cross River in the townland of Carrick.
Three observations were submitted to An Board Pleanála in relation to the planning application. They were made by the Development Applications Unit, Inland Fisheries Ireland, and Ballyforan resident Rose Burke.
