A north Roscommon business is closing down because of the "ever-increasing cost of business" and "strong competition from supermarkets".
Arigna Foodstore and Deli has announced it's shutting down, in a post on Facebook.
It marks the end of an era as there has been a shop in the premises for several decades.
In their social media post, the current owners said: "We have made the decision to close the shop and deli.
"It is a disappointment for us too, but the ever-increasing cost of business, not to mention strong competition from supermarkets, have put us in this position.
"We sincerely want to thank our staff - Ann, Donna, Fiona and Joshua - you were such a joy to work with. And thank you to our customers, you are wonderful people, and hopefully, like us, you will settle into a new routine soon."
