The number of people recorded as homeless in the Shannonside region has increased between May and June.
New figures from the Department of Housing show a total of 213 people accessed emergency acccomodation in the region up to the 25th of June.
This represents a slight increase on the previous months figure of 202.
The Mayo/Roscommon area experienced the largest increase, from 56 in May to 69 in June.
The number of people homeless in Westmeath also increased to 61.
While in the Donegal/Leitrim area, the number slightly decreased from 63 to 59 last month.
Longford also decreased from 25 in May to 24 in June.
Nationally, 12,600 people accessed emergency accomodation last month, the highest figure to date.
