A number of local organisations were recognised at the "Love Where You Live" awards in Leitrim.
The awards event was held in the Landmark Hotel in Carrick on Shannon on Wednesday evening.
The "Love Where You Live" awards is an annual event which publicly acknowledges the contribution of local volunteers and association in the community.
A total of 30 awards were presented in 5 different categories.
The Leitrim Special Olympics Sports Club won first place in the Social Inclusion category for Carrick on Shannon, with Mohill Community Network taking the crown in the Cleaner & Greener section.
The best kept estates in Leitrim were also awarded, with the Townparks Residents Association in Carrick on Shannon winning first place for its involvement in the local community.
Meanwhile, Hunt National School in Mohill was one of the recipients of the Schools Award, which will be presented to the winning schools by the Cathaoirleach of the Municipal District.
