More than 650 cases of Covid-19 were identified in nursing homes in the past week.
The data from the Health Protection Surveillance Centre shows the largest number of outbreaks in the past week were in private homes.
The cluster report from the HPSC is correct up to Saturday night.
It shows there have been 168 open outbreaks in nursing homes, while there are 116 in hospitals.
There were 42 cases among people in Direct Provision Centres, while there were 62 among the traveller community.
In terms of workplaces, there were 100 cases identified in meat and poultry processing plants - where there are currently 18 open clusters.
According to the report, there are more than 5,000 open clusters in private homes, over 180 in residential institutions and 142 in workplaces.
