Center Parcs Longford Forest enjoyed an average of 83 per cent occupancy over the course of the majority of the first 12 months of trading.
That figure doesn't take into account the four month closure period of the holiday village at Newcastle Forest outside Ballymahon that was caused by the corona virus pandemic.
However, the figure contrasts with the 95 per cent occupancy rates enjoyed by Center Parcs Woburn Forest outside London in it's opening year.
In a statement to Shannonside Northern Sound News, Center Parcs Longford Forest says the 83 per cent figure has exceeded expectations, given that they brought a brand new short break concept to the Irish market compared with opening Woburn in the UK where the brand had already been in operation for almost 30 years.
