The official opening of the multi-million euro primary care centre in Carrick-on-Shannon takes place this afternoon.
Minister of State for Public Health, Wellbeing and the National Drugs Strategy Frank Feighan T.D. will cut the ribbon at 2pm this afternoon.
The facility opened to the public last year and was used as a Covid vaccination centre and hub for much of the last 12 months.
The building, which is located in the middle of the town, accommodates health services including Public Health Nursing, adult and child Physiotherapy clinics as well as hosting the NowDoc out-of-hours clinic and two GP Practices.
