Drumshanbo has been described as the centre of a very exciting region after the official opening of a new €3.5m visitor experience in the town.
Tanaiste Leo Varadkar cut the ribbon the Shed Distillery visitor centre this afternoon after the project was completed over lockdown.
It's hoped that the distillery, which produces the world-famous gunpowder gin will help attract thousands of visitors to Leitrim and its surrounds in the coming years as the tourism market recovers following the pandemic.
