One person has been seriously injured following a road crash in Castlerea earlier this evening.
It's understood a female pedestrian was struck by a van in the town at around 5. 30pm.
The injured woman was rushed to hospital with serious injuries but the driver of the van was uninjured.

The Knock road in the town near the graveyard remains closed off this evening by Gardai as Garda Forensic Collision Investigators are conducting an examination of the scene.
