Opposition parties want Minister Paschal Donohoe to make a Dail statement and answer questions in relation to his 2016 General Election Expenses declaration.
Party whips have written to the Ceann Comhairle to formally make a request for the Minister to do so.
Earlier the Enterprise Minister Simon Coveney said Minister Donohoe had given a 'credible explanation' for his failure to declare services donated to him during the 2016 election.
Minister Donohoe has apologised and submitted an amended financial statement to SIPO.
