The OPW Minister is visiting Roscommon this morning to provide an update on plans to solve the south Roscommon flooding crisis. It's after An Bord Pleanála granted planning permission for an interim flood relief scheme around Lough Funshinagh last week.
Minister Kieran O'Donnell will brief residents and local politicians on the issue in Roscommon's council chamber this morning. Local Independent Ireland TD Michael Fitzmaurice says he wants a timeline for the works:
