Oran landed their first Roscommon intermediate title since 1997 with a seven point win after extra-time over St. Dominics.
Dominics had one hand on the cup after Darren Donnelly converted an injury time penalty to make it 2-8 to 1-10, but Charlie Carthy’s last gasp free sent the game to extra-time.
Oran were excellent in extra-time adding 1-6 to the scoreboard to win out 2-16 to 2-9.
Just two minutes were on the clock on Dominics opened the scoring with a goal, Darren Donnelly flicking the high ball into the net.
Oran were disturbed by the early goal but trailed by one point at half-time 1-3 to five points. The sides were level after seven second-half minutes 1-4 to seven.
Charlie Carthy was pulled to ground moments later with Oran awarded a penalty which was converted by Cathal Kenny to make it 1-7 to 1-4.
