Over 100 extra Local Enterprise Supported jobs created in region last year

There were over 100 extra Local Enterprise Supported jobs created in the Shannonside region last year. The figures were revealed following a parliamentary question by Wicklow TD John Brady to Junior Minister Emer Higgins.

50 extra Local Enterprise Supported jobs were created last year in Longford whilst 26 extra jobs were created in both Roscommon and Leitrim. Nationally in 2023, LEO supported companies created 6,640 new jobs, with a net gain of 2,131 jobs.
