Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe is reporting a busy ED this afternoon with 20 people on trolleys, a higher figure than usual.
Meanwhile, Midlands Regional Hospitals in Mullingar and Tullamore are dealing with 12 and 2 patients without a hospital bed respectively.
