Over 112,000 people are currently on out-patient waiting lists at hospitals across the Shannonside Northern Sound region.

Almost 12,000 patients are on waiting lists in Tullamore Regional Hospital, while it's sister hospital in Mullingar is facing 8,588 people seeking treatment.
While Roscommon University hospital is facing serious delays in procedures with over 6,700 waiting.
In the Northern Sound region, Our Lady's Hospital in Drogheda has over 10,000 people in need of treatment, while Cavan General Hospital has 5,759 people waiting on cardiac, pain relief or urology procedures.
