Over 1,300 fines have been issued by local Gardaí for breaches of Covid-19 regulations from April 2020 to the end of last month.
Figures released in the Garda 'Report on Policing Performance during COVID-19' have shown 23,112 fines issued over the almost 2 year period.
Offences include unnecessary travel during level 5 lockdowns, international travel , non wearing of face masks and house parties.
The Longford Roscommon Garda Division recorded 529 fines imposed on members of the public over the period, with a further 48 incidents where non-fine Covid policing powers were implemented.
That's followed by 512 fines issued by Gardaí in the Sligo/Leitrim Division and 42 other examples of pandemic policing powers excluding fines.
Westmeath Gardaí recorded the lowest levels of Covid regulation enforcement in the region, with 262 fixed penalty notices issued.
Nationally, just 47 per cent of issued fines have been paid, with the remainder likely to result in court for those involved.]
