There were over 1,900 patients waiting on trolleys in local hospitals last month.
The figures have been released by the INMO which shows an increase compared to last year.
Sligo University Hospital was the 5th busiest in February with 649 patients waiting for a bed.
Those figures are up from 528 compared to February 2023.
University Hospital Galway was also significantly busy in February with 987 patients waiting for a bed, up from 775 in 2023.
Meanwhile Portinuncla Hospital in Ballinasloe had 240 people waiting for a bed last month, which is down by 3 on the same time last year.
Finally, the Midlands Regional Hospital Mullingar had 65 patients on trolleys in February which is significantly down from 160 waiting in 2023.
Nationally, University Hospital Limerick remained the busiest in the country with over 2,000 patients on trolleys last month.
