Over 300 planning permissions have been granted in counties across the Shannonside region so far this year.
Totalled figures from CSO's first three quarterly reports of this year show that the number of granted dwelling projects have almost doubled since 2022.

Longford, Leitrim and Roscommon hold some of the country's lowest figures.
In Longford, 61 apartment units and 182 housing planning permissions were granted.
67 housing projects were approved in Roscommon with no planning permissions granted for the construction of apartments in the county so far this year.
40 houses and 3 apartments were approved in Leitrim, the lowest figures reported by the CSO in the country.
A total of 353 dwelling developments have been approved by county planners so far this year, at a 34% increase since the first three quarterly reports of 2022.
