Over three million euro in funding for Greenways allocated locally in 2022

Over 3 million euro has been allocated to the development of greenways in the Shannonside region so far this year.

That's according to the latest figures published by the Oireachtas.

Roscommon received just over 1 point 6 million euro with Leitrim receiving one million euro.

Longford was given 750 thousand euro in funding.

Over 54 Million euro was allocated to greenway projects for 2022 nationally.
