Shannonside Northern Sound Hospitals are dealing with over 60 confirmed and suspected cases of Covid-19 today.
Nationwide there were 355 people with the disease getting treatment overnight, while there were 86 patients in ICU.
Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore has the region's highest level of Covid patients today with 17 people receiving treatment for the virus, 5 of whom are in ICU.
That's followed by Cavan General Hospital, where 12 confirmed cases of the virus have been hospitalised.
In the Midlands Regional Hospital Mullingar, 8 people have been admitted with Covid-19 while a further 8 are receiving treatment for suspected cases.
University Hospital Galway are currently treating 6 patients with the virus while Sligo University Hospital have 5 cases admitted, 3 of which are in the hospital's critical care unit.
Meanwhile, Sligo University hospital is dealing with 20 non Covid patients waiting for beds on trolleys or in wards this morning.
384 new cases of the virus were identified yesterday, while no deaths were recorded for the first time in 2021.
