Over 60 people out of work over Longford fire

Over 60 people in Longford town are out of work this week because of the massive fire at the weekend.

A total of 13 businesses in Grafton Court were affected by the blaze, with millions of euro worth of damage caused.

Gardai are continuing to investigate the cause of Sunday morning's fire, and have not ruled out foul play.

Junior Enterprise Minister Dara Calleary is visiting Longford tomorrow to meet businesses affected.

His Fianna Fáil colleague, Councillor Seamus Butler, is calling for state money to be given to those impacted.
