Over 60 people have been convicted of public order offences across the Shannonside region in the first five months of this year.
Threatening, abusive or insulting behaviour in a public place as well as disorderly conduct, affray and intoxication are all included under the Criminal Justice Act 1994.
Longford District Court saw the highest number of people convicted from January 1st to May 31st at 34.
In Roscommon a total of 18 people were found guilty in the same period with seven in Castlerea, six in the county town, three in Ballaghadereen and two at the district court in Strokestown.
Carrick-on-Shannon district court convicted a total of 14 people while there was no cases brought forward in Manorhamilton.
