There are over 600 Ukrainian pupils enrolled in schools are the Shannonside region.
New figures from the Department of Education show 13,753 Ukrainian children and teenagers were enrolled in Irish schools, as of the 22nd of December.
On a national level there are now 13,800 Ukrainian pupils attending primary and secondary schools across the country. This includes over 8,800 in primary schools and just under 5,000 in post-primary.
191 Ukrainian children are attending primary schools across Leitrim while 110 are attending secondary schools in the county.
In Longford 57 are attending primary schools and 56 are enrolled in secondary schools.Roscommon has 148 primary school Ukrainian pupils while 48 are attending second level schooling in the county.
Across Dublin schools, 1,890 have enrolled in schools in the capital since the war on Ukraine began.
