Over 6,733 school transport tickets have been issued across the Shannonside region.
A total of 1,934 passes were issued in Roscommon an increase of 25 per cent on the previous year.
Longford recorded an increase of 18 percent on 2021 with 2,370 tickets issued while a further 2,073 tickets were allocated to students in Leitrim.

The figures released to Shannonside FM come as some families in region were not allocated tickets this year due to the increase in applications.
