Over eighty people in local hospitals with Covid-19

A total of 83 people in the Shannonside region were being treated for Covid-19 in hospitals last night according to the HSE.

508 people were in public hospitals last night with Covid, while 93 are in ICU.

From that total, 28 were in the midlands Regional hospital Mullingar, 24 at Galway University hospital, 12 at the hospital in Tullamore, 10 in Sligo University Hospital and nine at Portiuncula Hospital.

Four people are receiving critical care in Galway University Hospital, three people in Mullingar and Tullamore hospitals respectively are in ICU at present with Coronavirus with one each in Sligo and Portiuncula hospitals.
